Breeze Kite Plan

Breeze

Breeze is a quad line kite primarily built for indoor use. The kite is smaller than most indoor quad line kites and was designed to provide more maneuverability than other indoor quad line kites, without sacrificing too much sail pressure.

This is my go-to indoor quad line kite.

License

This plan is free for non-commercial use. If you would like to buy a Breeze, I have them available for order on my Shop.

Plans

I recommend printing plans at an office supply store. I use Staples and have them printed as "blueprints" on 36"x48" paper, printed at actual size.

Bridle

There is no real bridle on the breeze, but I suggest making some pigtails to attach your lines to. I set mine up with adjustable pigtails attached to the kite on the top lines, and I keep my handles free of extra knots to avoid tangles while flying.

Framing

The Breeze is a small Hadzicki Wing sail and uses 5 27" spars. Skyshark 2P are ideal. You will need 5 spars, and 2 internal ferrules, which can be made from .196 pultruded carbon, by cutting to ~3" - ~4" lengths.
