Swiveling Cross Fitting

Description

This is very similar to the Sliding Swiveling Cross Fitting, minus the "sliding." It is useful for kites where a single-piece lower spreader does not need to slide for storage, but can be glued in place. The fitting includes holes on the front and back for super glue to be injected into the fitting once it is in place.

Resources

Name Description
Fusion 360 Project File V4 of the model exported from Fusion 360
Fusion 360 Live Project The most recent version of the project. Provides parameters for the spreader and the spine diameters so it can be easily modified to support different size spars

Priting Notes:

I print this using Armadillo. The part is printed on its side as one piece. I print it on its side to make the print-in-place swivel easier to achieve.

This may be a slightly more difficult print because your machine needs to be relatively well calibrated to support the print-in-place swivel.
