3D Models for 3D Printing

I model and print my own fittings for kites as well as other accessories and tools. Feel free to do what you want with these models, as they fall under the WTFPL license.

If you like these models and want to give me a thank you, feel free to drop me a donation here:

Yoyo Stopper

Description

A yoyo stopper for dual line sport kites. Attaches to the kite using a 2mm zip tie, like these on Amazon.

A German flier who goes by PAW has designed a similar fitting that I was unaware of, and he suggested angling the stopper toward the back of the sail. The latest version of my design has incorperated that suggestion, and as a result, there are 2 mirrored models: one for each side of the kite.

File descriptions:

File Description
3.4mm (Left) (Right) Built with a 3.4mm hole to fit 3mm spars.
Fusion 360 Project A Fusion 360 file that can be used to remix the model. The project includes parameters for the spar diameter so it can scale for different frames.

Printing Notes

I print these using Sainsmart 95A TPU. No supports should be necessary.
