3D Models for 3D Printing

I model and print my own fittings for kites as well as other accessories and tools. Feel free to do what you want with these models, as they fall under the WTFPL license.

Spreader Leading Edge Connector

Description

Fittings for dual line sport kites that connect the leading edge to a lower or upper spreader. Inspired by APA fittings. The angles have been adjusted to create less steep overhangs when printing upright.

Resources:

For the best experience, use the online Fusion 360 Project. The project includes parameters to adjust hole sizes, tolerances, and fitting angle.

The Project is also available as a .f3d file here: Spreader LE Connector v68.f3d

Prepared STL files:

Printing Notes

I print these using Sainsmart 95A TPU and no supports. I recommend using 2 layers on the wall and 50% infill so that they are a little bit softer.
