K116 - Essentials V #6
K115 and K116 are a batched pair. This gold pair of Essentials Vs are to match my red/black pair to make a full 4-person team, or to give me enough kites to fly 3 at once and have one extra.
These were pretty typical Essentials builds, and went fairly smoothly.
Wingtip bungee
I did intentionally push the wingtip bungees a bit closer together to avoid the bungees pinching the sail with the way the bungee crossed straight across between the holes. I think this ended up looking a bit cleaner.
Mesh pattern
I ended up including the seam across the mesh that would exist in the case of the XXV. I think this adds a little bit more reinforcement across the mesh, and I think it looks a bit cooler too, so I'll probably continue to do that.
